Minimum requirements

Headlamp during darkness. Mobile phone at all times. GPS positioning device (to be provided by Sovev Emek)

Prior to participation, runners must sign a waiver of responsibility, and must also submit a medical fitness report signed by a sports physician

A copy of your medical fitness report and verification of your personal insurance for the days of the race should be emailed to us at least a week before the race at info@sovev-emek.org

The 166 Km route comprises of five loops, beginning and ending at the staging area
Personal baggage can be left at the staging point only
The start of the 166K race is at 07:00 AM Thursday
The refreshment stations will be fully manned starting 21:00 PM on Thursday. Before this time they will have only water and will be partially manned
From 21:00 PM all stations will also serve isotonic drinks, halva, energy bars, bagels, gels, apples, coke and other items

Distances of the stations from the staging point: 2.7 km., 6.3 km., 10.4km., 12 km., 15.5 km., 20.7 km., 22.3 km., 26.5 km., 30.6 km
Cut-off time: Competitors that cannot start the fourth round before 8:00 AM at the staging area will be disqualified
During the race, a medical team including ambulance and suitably equipped ATV will be on hand in case of emergency
During the night all runners must use a headlamp
All runners must be equipped with a mobile phone and GPS positioning device – supplied by us
The path will be marked with signs and led lights – Example

All refreshment stations and the staging area will have trash cans, please use them

RUNNERS SHOULD DISPIOSE OF THEIR TRASH, INCLUDING ENERGY GEL WRAPPERS AND BOTTLES IN THE DESIGNATED TRASH CANS AT THE REFRESHMENT STATIONS OR IN THE STAGING AREA

Please ensure you keep the forest clean

Runners caught littering will be disqualified
